I feel very lucky that in ten years I have been a patron, Wayo has not slowed down in quality across the board. Fantastic food made by the most fantastic staff in all of Springfield. If I could give more stars I would, you guys are amazing.

The atmosphere was pretty great. I love the private tables. The wait seemed about normal to me. Especially for the baked lobster roll. It seemed to come out rather quickly, if anything. The taste of the sushi is honestly not the absolute best I've ever had, but it was still pretty damn good. The cost is pretty high, obviously. It's all fresh , so my husband and I, with 2 different whole rolls a piece, paid about $111 total, and that was with a tip. We are definitely curious to return and try some different rolls! The shrimp tempura was our favorite out of the 4 we tried! We will 100% come back again!
We stopped here after an exhausting day at the hospital. Having left home without even a change to brush hair or change out of our pjs. The private dining areas were exactly what we needed. Our server made us feel so comfortable and welcome. She was gracious kind and always on top of refills. Absolutely the best sushi Iβve had since I came from living overseas. Delicious, fresh beautifully plated. Our new favorite place to eat! Ten out of ten stars.
There's not usually a wait, but it doesn't have anything to do with the food! Wayo is a little gem that only sushi lovers will know about! I love the Rich and Famous and the Taster's Choice. The chef always uses fresh flowers to decorate your plate for a special touch.
The vibes here are immaculate! Everyone gets their own enclosed booth area & it creates a much more intimate experience also the presentation of the food, AMAZING! As well as the quality. *also yes you may see me using my hands cause I canβt freakin use chopsticks for the life of me, NO JUDGEMENT
Stopped in for a late lunch; I was the only one there. I liked the private little tables in their own little rooms. It's a bit on the pricey side but the sushi is solid. I ordered the 8 piece nigiri with a California roll and a spicy tuna roll. The nigiri was fantastic! The salmon was so buttery and delicious. It was a great fish to rice ratio as well. The California roll was one of the better ones I've had in Springfield. I prefer the cream cheese, crab, etc to be mixed instead of just chunks of them wrapped up. Again, they have a great rice to filling ratio! The spicy tuna was good as well. Not too spicy and well proportioned. The presentation of everything was very pretty and I liked the fresh flowers Lastly, my server was awesome and very nice!
Great sushi and quick service, we had a great time and no allergy problems with alfagal
